Browser isolation

Security technique that runs websites in an isolated environment so malicious code can't reach the main system.

Browser isolation runs websites in an isolated environment ("sandbox") so that any malicious code served can't reach the main system. Chrome, Edge, and Firefox use process-based isolation; some security suites additionally offer a virtualised browser environment for banking.

Kaspersky's "Safe Money" is a well-known implementation.
