Editorial guidelines

Independence despite affiliate funding

Documented product tests and assessments are pending. We therefore currently publish no scores or test winners. Selections use recorded product features.

No paid placements

We do not sell top spots. The order of products in our tables emerges solely from score, category match, and freshness — never from commercial agreements.

Affiliate-link transparency

Affiliate links carry a visible "affiliate link" hint directly under the button. Technically they are tagged rel="nofollow sponsored noopener" and open in a new tab.

Freshness promise

A review date is assigned only after a documented editorial review. Publication and technical modification dates are separate.

Corrections

We correct mistakes openly. Substantial corrections are timestamped in the content. Reader and vendor feedback is welcome and reviewed promptly.

Sources

Wherever possible we work with primary sources: independent test labs (AV-Test, AV-Comparatives), state bodies (NCSC), official vendor documentation. External claims are tagged and linked to the original source.
